Fifa 13 lagging inspite of minimum settings.

4gb ram
intel hd graphics 3000
14" display
i have set to the minimum settings but the game still lags.....
also i downloaded the latest graphics driver...still the same problem persists.
it didn't happen 7-8 months ago
plz give me a solution

Have you checked for any CPU intensive applications running in background ??? And What is the maximum turbo of that iGPU with the game running ??
This might have to do something with the power-profile as well.

it's a core i3 2310M processor......2.1 ghz normally and at turbo boost i have no idea what the processor speed is.....
graphics freaquency is 1.1ghz

iNTEL CORE i3 is more than enough to run Fifa 13 and since you have Hd 4000 intel gpu it seems fine try reinstalling the game it may solve the problem.

what resolution are you running it on
I used to play FIFA 12 on my laptop with the lowest setting+lowest resolution and it lagged(and i have an i5 2410m+HD 3000)
and FIFA 13 wouldn't even start on it

It's HD3000 , not HD4000.

Post the Temps and resolution at which you are playing the game.
