Firefox 1.0.7 not getting installed!

I just downloaded the setup of Firefox 1.0.7 from mozilla.com, but the 4.(sumthing) MB file after downloading had sme error & I'm unable to install the newversion of the browser!!
Is anybody else too facing this problem?

By thw way, I'm running Win XP on my PC, and my current browser is Firefox 1.0.6.

I'm really clueless about the problem that I'm facing.
Even the automatic update of FF can't download the new version, it just tells me about the update & wen it tries to download the components, then some critical error arises!!

Does anybody have an idea about this?

I hv not d/l ed it yet!
But I will d/l it and install it and then will let u know the result...

Tell me what exact ERROR r u facing while installing it?
May be the file u d/l ed got corrupted!

Mine Firefox 1.0.7 setup size is 4.65 MB.

try downloading again and do a clean install.

Problem solved after 3 retries

Wonder what was going wrong in the previous attempts?!

May be some system conflict or Firefox BUG. :wink:
