Did Firefox crash even in safe mode?

Try this: start firefox with "-p" then create a new profile, then load firefox with that profile.

Thanks but yes i created a new FF profile and that crashed too. BTW it seems to be an OS issue as even my IE and Chrome are crashing. IE crashes if i try downloading anything or try to open favorites. Chrome also crashes when trying to download or upload. :( :banghead::wah::wah:

That's weird. Perhaps you should try running Firefox on a Linux live USB just to be sure.

Disable all possible antivirus/firewall/internet security software including service you might have installed and try again

Try booting Windows in Clean Boot (i.e. all third party starting apps /services disabled) and try running Firefox and Chrome again

Your system seems to be infected or messed up. Try the solution as mentioned above.
