Fixing Corrupt download.

We had a thread which showed how to fix corrupted files without downloading the full files again. I searched a lot but no results. Does anyone remember where it is located?

I am getting a CRC error on a 400+ MB file can this be fixed without downloading the file again?

i don't think CRC error could be fixed if the problem is in the file itself.

i dont think its possible

i read some where that first make currupted file as torrent and share it
now torrent replaces the currupted file or so
cant remember exactly but torrent user can tell u well in this regard

The file is not downloaded from a torrent, but from HTTP download using FDM.

but u can make it torrent
don know much but as i remember i saw article in linux iso or fedora iso
someone who uses torrent most can help u

CRC error's cannot be fixed.
redownload it again.

Its a ZIP setup file of FarCry. Downloaded from this page

Jfilerecovery says that my file is OK.

Will download it again. Or other sources

already downloaded it, this doesnt work with files >5 MB in "unactivated version".
