Free AntiVirus Software..........

Hi,

I need Free Antivirus Software which is used for scanning n removing virus.....n also need to see it doesnt slow up pc performance.......
i have got one avg antivirus but its a test center only.....as it just detect virus but never helps to cure the same.............

So any simple n powerful Free antivirus s/w if somebody knows pl.provide the link.............

@Shashank_re, how long has Airtel been giving McAfee Internet Security Suite free? Is it available for all broadband plans? What are the terms of service? I have been using Airtel for quite a while now both at office and at home, but have not received any information from their side...

Avast only has removed 20 viruses and 40 trojans from my computer and it can also recover lost files. Consider the example below.

Avast has a VRDB(Virus Recovery Database) which stores 3 versions informations about all files on ur HDD. So if you have a imp doc and it gets infected by a virus, u can recover the orginal ver without virus with the help of VRDB!

for best antispyware use a combination of spybot+adaware.It is the best.
