Spell your budget for the Graphics card!
Selling of the CPU+Mobo & buying any Intel NUC or low end CPU is best regarding the AMD AM3 reached its EOL.
I suggest these instead:

By selling the AMD AM3 CPU+Mobo you might get 5-6k

Intel pentium g5400 is more than enough for any typical office pc tasks & as for gaming,it depends on which games you are talking about. @SaiyanGoku should have some idea of older games playable with integrated graphics of pentium g5400/4560.

So I guess DDR 4 is mainstream now.

Ok so suggest me 2 or 3 option for Motherboard processor Ram

Option 1 rs 10000

Option 2 rs 15000

Option 3 rs 18 or 20000

I have cabinet, corsair's 450 PSU, full hd Dell monitor, keyboard mouse, 1 tb HDD, optical drive.

I only need the heart.. nono privacy and ram.. i. Thinking to put 8 GB ram

Budget -31.7K

AMD Ryzen 5 3500 - 11k
Mobo - Asrock B450 Pro4 - 6.8k
RAM - G.Skill RipJaws V 8GB DDR4 3200MHz - 2.8k (mdcomputers)
GPU -Zotac GT 1030 2GB DDR5 -5.7k
PSU - Antec VP550P Plus -3.1k
SSD -Western Digital Green 240GB M.2 SATA III -2.3k

Total - 31.7k

All above prices are taken from theitdepot.com except specified above.

PS: If you have Corsair VS Series PSU just ditch it because it has low end chinese capacitors only for asian markets. Just add the SSD and enjoy the speed.
Sell of the remaining CPU+Mobo+RAM+PSU which might fecth you 10k So as your present budget is 20k add this amount and get the above config. It will last another 5-6 years at the least.

OP's budget is 20k, not 30k.
If it is for normal usage, a 3400G without dGPU would be a better option. That SSD and 1030 for 6k are a waste of money.

Dec 14, 2019 at 7:50 PM
1030 is indeed not required but ssd is needed I think as latest win 10 really crawls on hdd often.
Getting a low end dram less ssd doesn't makes sense here. 250GB MX500 costs just 800 more.

This is a recently released combination. There are no A420 or A520 motherboards yet.
Athlon 3000G + A320 mobo + 8GB DDR4 ram shouldn't cost more than 10k IMO. Don't waste money on 200GE.

Edit: 3000G is on pre-order though. In that case, 200GE is the cheapest option for you.

not intrested in buying GPU, as when the GPU is not working entire system becomes useless untill i arrange another working GPU.

so only want a motherboard, CPU and RAM - with Integrated GPU

i can extend my budget, but the PC should be good powerful to run Chrome, some photoshop, PDF reader, etc at same time. also possible some light RTS gaming on mid or low setting

No motherboard comes with on-board graphics these days.

Intel processors have integrated GPU.

Sent from my OnePlus 3 using Tapatalk

i think i am out of touch from computer world for quite some time, what do you mean by no motherboard has on board graphic now days ?? please explain

Does that mean , we have to buy a separate dedicated graphic card almost all new system ?

What is processor having integrated GPU ? do we still need graphic card ?

I have seen PC withoug graphic card, but still working fine, like Pentium G4560 with Gigabyte GIGABYTE GA-B350M-D3H or i guess B250 motherboard

Please explain, do we always need to buy a graphic card.

so processor with IGP is called APU - true or falls ?
how can we check which processor has graphic in built ?
so does all motherboard now days require graphic card if processor doe not have it, i believe earlier motherboard used to have IGP capability, since when all this started.

How much processor with graphic cost, and how good is their perfomance in gaming etc

Yes,APU is processor with integrated graphics.

For Intel, all processors have integrated graphics except models ending with 'F'. e.g. i3 9100 has integrated graphics but i3 9100F does not have integrated graphics.

For AMD,no processor comes with integrated graphics except those models ending with 'G'. e.g. Ryzen 3500/3600 don't have integrated graphics but ryzen 2200G/3200G/athlon 200GE have integrated graphics.

Ever since intel launched core i 2nd gen(starting from 2011) processors with integrated graphics, intel mobos stopped coming with integrated graphics.AMD followed the trend & by the launch of ryzen processors in 2017 AMD mobos too stopped coming with integrated graphics.

For intel, there is no extra cost because their integrated graphics is relatively weak(only when talking about gaming) but for amd processors the difference is ~1-2k & the limit is 4 cores(no 6 cores integrated graphics processor from amd). For gaming, you need minimum 2200G/3200G with 2*8gb ddr4 3000MHz ram(as amd processor integrated graphics performance depends on ram) & it can play older games & some recent games at 720p with mid to low settings. @SaiyanGoku will be able to better tell this as I am not a gamer.

Hmmm thanks.

So if i buy a processor that has integrated graphic and put on a motherboard that do not have integrated graphic, so do motherboard has video output connection..

Does all motherboard has video output connection now
W
Dec 16, 2019 at 6:15 PM
All video outputs on any mobo rely on integrated graphics of the installed processor(if it has any) & all mobos have video outputs(you can check the specs on mobo manufacturer website).

how is this, will it be good for some light casual gaming like RTS, FPS etc.

will it work without graphic card or i need to buy one,
can i add graphic card and SSD and more RAM later if i wish to
and i have Corsair VS450, will it be compatible with it

Or

Depends on what games you want to play. If it is any recent ones which need decent GPU (probably 1650 Super or above), 2200G would be a bottleneck. If you want upgradability, this setup would not be helpful to you. You'd be limited to lower end AM4 CPUs/APUs because of the VRMs and more than 16GB ram here won't make sense.
Does it make more sense to keep the FX8320 and Asus M5A97 and just buy a new low cost graphic card.
For gaming, I'm expecting it to cause a bottleneck for any decent GPU. Used RX570, 1050Ti, RX580 can be found for around 6-7k. Paying more won't give you the expected performance increase. And mobo has a PCIe gen 2 slot.

Should've bought MX500 instead. SU650 is a bad option for new builds.
No practical difference for someone coming from a hdd. Only when one use a fast ssd with not so typical tasks, the difference becomes noticeable enough.

There are 2 m2 slots in that mobo, you have to install m2 sata ssd(which su650 is) in m2_2 slot(the one at the corner) & not m2_1 slot(the one above the pcie slot) which is for m2 nvme ssd.

What is nvme
ASRock B450 Pro4
  • 6 SATA3, 1 Ultra M.2 (PCIe Gen3 x4), 1 M.2 (PCIe Gen3 x2 & SATA3)
1st one is for nvme drives, 2nd for sata and nvme.

sata ssd 2.5" that looks like portable hdd/laptop hdd--connects to sata port on mobo just like hdd.
m2 sata ssd fits in m2 slot that supports m2 sata ssd.It also performs just like above sata 2.5" ssd.
m2 nvme ssd fits in m2 slot that supports m2 nvme ssd.It is the fastest ssd type currently.
All mobos having more than 1 m2 slot have one slot supporting nvme & other slot supporting m2 sata ssd.For details check mobo specifications on manufacturer's website.
