I flashed Cyanogenmod 9.1.0 on my S2 and also the latest Siyah ICS kernel. Everything went fine except my phone shutdown often when it went into idle state. I didn't know what to do, i thought Siyah was the reason, so changed to some older & stable versions, still the problem continued, phone used to shutdown like 4 to 5 times a day. Then i read somewhere that there may be conflicts with some apps like battery saving, so i uninstalled my app Easy Battery Saver yesterday, didn't face the problem untill now. I just wanted to share if someone faced same problem with their phones. App can be also one of the reason, as may be the kernel/rom, worst case scenario is hardware problem.

Yeah... I never install any battery savers or task killers... They are all useless... sometimes even detrimental to the performance of your phone...

Thank you for sharing your experience...
