Gaming Laptop ~1L · DIGIT-ARC

It's a little annoying but I gotta buy another laptop and was looking for suggestions around 1L.
I already have a specced out Surface Pro 4(i7) and a ultra portable desktop rig with 8700K and 1080ti so I suppose something in between will do well.

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
Rs 1L +- 10/20k

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

Thin and Light; 12" - 14" screen
Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?

Gaming / Productivity

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
GTX 1060 or 1070

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
Nein

6) Anything else you would like to say?

Screen resolution 1080p (Full HD) )
Battery back up ( normal (3-4hrs) / extended (5-7hrs) )

Forget about 1060 or good laptops in this budget.

why you are wasting money in another config..even though you have a desktop and surface pro ?

You should be able to get some reviews of the HP one but I doubt about the reviews for Asus one as even I have never heard of that model. Both have older 7th gen CPUs though.

8th gen with 1060 would cost too much.

For all of them, not really.
Most 8th gen ones are also costing same as previous launch prices of 7th gen ones (in India that is). The real reason these 7th gen laptops are going for "discounted" price, which still is higher than international prices, is to clear the stocks.

Thanks. Was looking for laptops in similar budget, and these caught my eye.
I thought for the usage like - Android Studio, Graphics/Video Editing, and some occasional Overwatch, these would do.

I am thinking about swapping out the core i5 in the Azom for a core i7 8700K, which I currently have in my desktop, when Z390 hits and just using the Azom as a file and media server.

Azom will cost me around 1.2L, GL703GM import is 1.7L

Acer looks sold out. MSI does not provide 3 year warranty which I must have(Company Scheme reasons) even when I am willing to pay extra. Also core i7 7700HQ is not much faster than a core i3 8100 in an Azom.

I mean I can bring it but laptops needs to be purchased in India for GST reasons. Even if I do bring the laptop to India, Azom is not much more expensive.
