Hello,

I would like to know from all concerned on purchasing a genuine Windows OS software, I would continue to be delivered with not only its own updates, but also new versions of Windows OS.

For ex: suppose I have purchased a copy of WinXP, shall I be eligible to get Windows vista free of cost as and when the Vista is released..?

nope but u can get Vista at reduced price as an upgrade of ur WinXP

nope u wont get vista free of cost... but if u have a genuine winXP Pro... then MS will give u 50% or more (i dont know for exact) off in that new version of OS... as when we had win98SE MS did the same for selling winXP...
