GigaSmilies.com -Official Website, All are invited!

Hi all!

After the successful release of 4 GigaSmilies Windows version and few WebVersions, now we are hosting GigaSmilies on its dedicated brand new site and developer forum.

We have plans to make GigaSmilies a Open Source software after the next release. It will be done in a week or a two.

So, now we have set up a dedicated site and forum with its own domain.

At the moment we are hand picking the Developers and Beta Testers. Soon after making the application open source, we will open public to submit for "Developer Post", if and only if he/she knows programming.

And another good news is, we are also planning to release Linux & MAC version of this application after the next final release of windows version.

Forum is open for public to demand features and submit smilies and other stuffs...

And thanks for Team Digit & Digit Forum for providing us the awesome and kindful support!

Yes prakash we decided to give out the source so that others can also learn, if not modify the code

Gigasmilies is a real cool stuff. i tried it just today and i am fan of it. Specially the new smart swap feature, well thought one. What more should i say just this *gigasmilies.googlepages.com/113.gif

Do you guys have python support in on your host? If yes, you can use trac to manage revision control, wiki and bug reports/feature requests.
Rather than handling code "Developer Post", follow the open source method. Keep it open to all. If you see someone contributing a lot of good ideas,patches,etc you can then allow commit access to those people.
Also, start a mailing list on google or yahoo or whatever groups you find suitable. It can be used for developer's discussion, public discussion, etc.
If you can't avail of these, try for sourceforge. They will give you mailing list, cvs, bug tracking system and more.

Ah! Finally found this thread. Hey Giga and Charan, wanted to let you know that the description of few smilies are not right. For example, the "Talk to my hand" is written as "NERD"!! There are few more, I can't check it out now as I'm on linux. BTW, I still haven't got my registration confirmation link *gigasmilies.googlepages.com/20.gif
