Buy a used RX 6600 for 11-13k with 1 year warranty remaining. Add a 2nd RAM stick as well, like 3k for 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 stick, will underperform to match your current stick. Get PSU upgraded to Deepcool PM650D for 5k.

Will be a decent upgrade for 20k.

A friend of mine bought a used MSI RX6600 for 11.5k from this guy:

There are many such sellers, but beware of scammers. So have to do due diligence.

Good deal in 2019 maybe. RX6600 is much better, just check benchmarks. 3050 performs almost the same as 1660 Super for reference, so even that is a poor choice at 19k.

For new GPUs, RX 6600 at 20k, then 3060 at 25k, then 6750XT at 35k are my choices, can ignore others.

Also your rig has other major issues for which I had recommendations in my previous post. Single channel RAM will be the performance bottleneck & 430W is below recommended PSU.

I know you all will hate me for this but I finally went with my projected usage of PC for gaming.

First i ordered the 5060 one then cancelled and ordered 3060 12GB one as per my usage.

There was a post on a FB group recently where users were warned not to buy any Zotac Gpus from Flipkart by a representative of Zotac India-apparently their suppliers source these gpus from unofficial sources and thus these cards won't be eligible for any warranty claims in future. If you have bought the gpu from flipkart, then proceed at your own risk.

That being said,3060 12gb will suffice for low/moderate 1080p gaming, but will be noticeably slower than 9060/5060 in case of many newer titles-may i know what's your use case exactly and why did you suddenly cancel the delivery of 5060 and go with 3060?

Since the motherboard is only compatible with DDR5 RAM, I ordered the following products:

1. RAM -

G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB White 16GB 6000MHz CL36 DDR5 RAM

2. CPU Cooler (since I don't have an AM5 compatible cooler:

Ant Esports ICE-C621 ARGB 120mm Dual Tower CPU Air Cooler

How much did the 3060 12 GB cost ? It went for as low as 18k last year but prices went up this year..

9060XT 16GB would have been a great choice, it is available at 36k onwards, but if budget doesnt permit i think 3060 12 GB is the next best choice. Avoid the 8GB ones at all cost, theres lots of videos on youtube which clearly show how they throttle in many games due to memory shortage.

So after spending so much on my upgrade, I was building it. I was installing RAM on the motherboard while the Dual CPU Cooler was installed which made it a bit difficult with the less space. In doing so, I broke the RAM slots and now my system won’t turn on the display.
I wonder what can I do now since the service centre guys rejected my claim for repair under warranty & after market guys couldn’t fix it.

i wonder how forcefully did you try to install the ram sticks such that you ended up breaking them?! Did you damage all or just 1 ram slot?

If you can't get it repaired then alas there is no other option but to get a new motherboard.

Coz i was installing it backwards.
There are but both of them cracked when tried to install only once.
It is really frustrating to hear such a news. I mean there should be some provision for repairing.

More like accidental. Why would I intentionally damage my motherboard?

Finally, a local shopkeeper repaired my mobo and now i got it running. He installed the RAM somehow in one of the slots. Then i installed all the other components:
1. AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
2. Nvidia RTX 3060 12 GB
3. Corsair 650X
4. Ant esports dual fan cpu cooler
5. 1TB Crucial Nvme SSD

I also have this current problem of Corsair CX650 that it has a 15 Amp Plug which doesn't fit in my UPS since it doesn't have such socket. I researched around extension cables, surge protectors, but none were having 15 Amp sockets. Any suggestion here is welcome since I have to keep my cabinet on the bed close to the AC switchboard.

regarding converter… you are a life saver man! I didn’t thought of it thoroughly.. i did have that in my microwave oven and since my stupid wife has purchased that just for showoff, i immediately jumped on it and took the converter to use it for my PSU
