GTX 1060 = Rs23,000 ____ RX480= Rs27,700 WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?

Firstly, only the stock cooler designed Blower Style RX480 is available Asus Radeon RX 480 8GB GDDR5 Graphic Card (RX480-8G)
Secondly, we already have after market GTX 1060, in mini ITX and AMP overclocked edition Search : gtx 1060

They said AMD is dead in India for the past 2 years. This isnt helping AMD's problem much.

Or is that a typing error in the website ? How can the GTX 1060 be so cheap ???

Lets hope for a RX 480 price cut!

AMD prices are not that great in countries like India and Brazil

Meanwhile everywhere else 1060 is around 50-100$ more expensive than 480

Sent from my Redmi Note 3

^^I have enquired in few shops in SP Road, Bangalore about the cost of Rx 480. 1 guy quoted me 23.5k. I forgot to as him if its the 4GB or 8GB variant.

B

AMD needs to either pull up their distributors or close shop altogether in this country. How on earth is a 1060 cheaper than a Rx 480 when it costs at least $50 more elsewhere? Did Nvidia join the "Make in India" campaign or something?

n the cheap technical officer of amd is indian still no mercy

AMD RX 480 price dropped further down to Rs.20,990 | Digit.i

^^ 21k is the price for a 4GB RX 480 GPU. The 8GB one costs 25k.

Not 25k, its 23k

^^ Buy Online | Sapphire Radeon RX 480 8G D5 Graphic Card | Price in Indi

This is the cheapest 8GB RX 480 I found on the net. I might get it cheaper in SP Road, Bangalore.

Price listed by PrimeABGB might be old since they don't update the site as frequently. It will be cheaper locally.

Also GTX 1060 is cheaper because RX 480 outpaces the GTX 1060 in DX12 and Vulkan based games which makes AMD the better performer in the long run. DX11 is still around and won't be replaced anytime soon so this gives the GTX 1060 some breathing room.

Going for a RX 480 8GB variant would be better investment IMO.

Already bought a Zotac 1060 AMP edition.

I will try and upgrade next year.

Why there is no updated price in any online store?
