^^ I order a few ( max 5 ) and distribute it among friends :) Giving a CD-R didnt impress many of my friends and many never used it atleast one. Giving a original CD with the cover made a good impression about Linux and ubuntu and they tried it :) . But this time I just got one CD :(

I'm not aware of anything like that... I had received ubuntu 6.06 and 7.04 thro shipit and all were 1 CD editions only... And no, they have never called me on phone.. only direct postal delivery..

The first time I got it was in 2005, the 4.10 version, which was 2 CDs, later i got copies of 5.10 which was a two CD set too...later it was single CD 6.06 and then now 7.04 (single CD)

It normally takes two weeks to 2 months after u order but you surely do get the same 100% of the times

Yes,persons having download facilities shouldn't use Shipit. But I've ordered just one CD of Ubuntu,Edubuntu and Kubuntu because of two reasons....a)Curiosity and b>running low on bandwidth(using Home250 plan)...:)
