If its not there then create one yourself. It should work that way too.

the problem/question is not about creating it

d fact dat i have a fully functional Folder Option window, means that there is a registry entry that is making Folder Option accessible

all i want 2 know is that where is that entry if it is not in the loaction i specidied

Not all things are handled by registry. So u'll never find the key to show Folder Options in Registry Editor. ;)

"NoFolderOptions" DWORD value is used to disable Folder Options. Its not like you make "ShowFolderOptions" and it'll start showing it. These DWORD values are predefined in Windows. Actually such DWORD values were created to restrict users for sharing environments. So there is no as such DWORD value.

so if i want to disable the Folder options window
how will i do it?
do i create a new dword value and give it a vlue of 1

as for sharing environments do you mean multiple user login names?

^^ Yep. No such DWORD value is pre-made there. You hv to make one and set its value to 1.
