Hello!
I need to wi-fi printer cum scanner.
My budget is around 12-13k

For that I sort out 3 models:
HP Wireless Ink Tank GT 5820
Epson L405 Wi-Fi All-in-One Ink Tank
Canon Pixma 3010 InkJet

If you are going to get a wifi printer, please get one with a display. It is a bit bothersome trying to setup without it.

I have an Epson L385 and it is working perfectly fine at home.

Just make sure that you don't buy duplicate ink to buy a few bucks. It will ruin the head and cost you a fortune to fix it.

Unlike cartridge based printers, ink tank models are economical with respect to cost of ink.

I would suggest you to get a printer without wifi and a scanner. Getting them both is expensive+running cost is high.

Running cost for what?

PIXMA G3010
This one has a tiny black and white display. Is that useful?

Get a WiFi printer+a separate scanner then.

A separate scanner is not worth the extra over all money. Scanner module rarely break before the printer module of the All in one printers. I have been using 3rd party inks for over 2 years for my printer. No issues. I would recommend Epson over HP .

Bought L405 for Rs. 12,200. It works amazing! I print documents through it's app. Works flawlessly, best quality printing.
