I guess moving the password file would help?

It's an encrypted file located at:

C:/Documents and Settings/<UserName>/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/<something>.default/signons.txt

1. There is import / export password extension which work without any problems. Not sure which one you used.

2. As suggestd by QwertyManiac

3. You can always consider portable apps in future :)
