Help me decide on phone...

I prefer SE.. but dont mind Nokias too.
I've to buy a new phone... chose 3... the N95 8GB, W960i or K850i.

N95 & K850i for their direct imaging & music capabilities. Of the 2... N95 might b more useful... but K850i is cuter & lighter.

W960i is a great multimedia Symbian touch-screen phone... with a 3.2 megapix camera & 8GB space. A great combo of both the above phones & more... xcept for the 3.2mpx camera & duller look.

I go for looks & quality.

What should i go for among these three... very undecisive of the three....

N95 is the best of the trio.Go for it.

If u have loads of cash.. then get the w960i..
btw u can also try the n95 8gb or the n81 8gb wen they release..
I wd prefer the n81 or n95..

heyy if u can afford such cellphones means that u can also get a good digi cam
so go for a w960i !!

i'll vote in for w960i too.

I wd side with the n95 8gb or the n81 8gb... more so with the n81 8gb..
if u dont want a touchscreen then go for the n95 8gb ...
if u dont want a good cam either (as u already have a digicam)then go for the n81 8gb..
the w960 has a 3.2mp cam and no EDGE..also no symbian app support...
the n81 is touted to be the next ngage.. and is said to hve the loudest sound in the current gen fones...
btw all three are yet to release.. so i wd suggest that u wait till they release and see the reviews b4 getting any 1..

dude the w960i is not out anywhre in the world, i saw in sony ericsson website it sez coming soon

The W960 has symbian OS.

+1 for w960i

It has a symbian os but a different UI.. so all the nokia symbian apps wont work with it.. it does have specific apps but they are very less in number...

Frankly speaking, nokia is more uesful in work and software extentions and SE is good at taking photo and music playing.

forgot GPS . i think there are few bluetooth devices

Dude,3.2 mp camera is enough.Also it's a walkman phone and a good upgrade from your W800

,if cam really matters then get N95 8gb

or K850i.

if cam matters go for n95 8GB but about music why not try 5310 or 5610 but it's s40

I meant USB 2.0 via Mini USB interface and mass storage class support to support drag and drop functionality...
Is it directly pluggable & read/writeable... like flashdiscs?

Yup @ kooly.. You can use the fone in data storage mode as usb drives..
tho the speeds might be a lil less...
also if u r a GPRS user u might be disappointed as w960 doesnt have EDGE..
btw both n95 and w960 are awesome fones..

If u can financially afford a w960i,then go 4 it...
You wont have to regret...it seems a gud fone.

wireless internet is also priority.. the faster the better....N95 has 3G, GPS, HSDPA, Bluetooth, A2DP, Infrared, USB, WLAN, right... W960.. no? Then N95?
What's the use of HSD... & A2DP... i'm kinda layman here

yup.. maybe.. in n95 u ll also get a choice of 5-6 browsers and chat clients and download managers..
but w960 is a better multimedia fone.. n95 is a all rounder..

@koolbluez-A2DP is useful if u want to listen songs via wireless bluetooth headset.For eg:the headset which comes with moto rokr is a wireless one.I think instead of that you invest in a good wired headset.(Bose or creative EP630)

Hsdpa is a 3.5g tech wich offers speed upto 3.6mbps.. Forget it in india.. A2dp is a profile used to stream stereo music over bt to wireless headsets.. U can get the moto s9 or nokia bh 501 headsets..

i hav heard that N72 has symbian 8.1 .can i flash it with 9.2

and upto how much expandable memory can be added to the phone.
should i buy it or wait till november to get the N73 at a cheaper price.

doubt: n95 8GB has no edge... meanin i dont get full speed gprs.. or the hsdpa takes care of the loss of edge?

Yup, U won't.

But 3G & is coming to India soon, so u won't miss anything. If you are going for N81 tehn my recommendation is to save money & go with harddisk less version & then add memory card as u need

I know it has flash memory but it is not about Flash or moving HDD, its about "HDD" which increases the cost.

Sounds great with good headfones.. But w960 sounds better..
Btw people wit normal ears like me arent able to make out the diff..
I cant distinguish between the sound quality of a 5700 and a w580i

Go for some Sony Ericsson phone.

N95 8GB is awesome...no reason why you should skip it...
GPS navigation is something you will get addicted too once you have it....
N95 lacks the touchscreen else its perfect.

I would prefer N95 8GB than the SE ones..you will love it just go for it
