Guys,
I lost my red color sandisk pendrive recently. :-( Suggest me any good and cheap pendrive of 8GB which looks good & works for atlleast 2 year. My friends bought HP & PNY micro pen drives, and now they stopped working after 6 months.

But i've liked this TREK 8GB Micro PenDrive @ Rs.235
Trek Thumb Drive Micro 8GB Pen Drive (White)

Share ur view for this pendrive with good writing speed. Or should i buy any other brand? My purpose transferring movie of 700MB & sometime making bootable windows7 USB Drive :)

I've checked these 2 sites, where all pendrives are cheaper compare to market. If possible find some deal with discount code. :)

Go for anyone, Pendrives doesn't cost much and you shouldn't be worried about it.

I've 2 USB 2.0 pendrives of same model. One gives 10 Mbps write while other struggles to give 5Mbps.

Get anyone.

My friend got this from a local store : Transcend Jet Flash 350 16GB Pen Drive | Pendrive | Flipkart.com

It was USB 2.0 as printed on cover, but it gave upto 23 Mbps write speed. He got lucky indeed.

^ sorry, I don't agree with this. You can't go in for brands like moserbaer, although those are much cheaper. The fact that Kingston gives a five year warranty with their per drives gives them the advantage. Can't say about transcend though, but Sandisk gives a warranty between 1 to 3 years. Bigger brands, have the advantage of well established service networks, which help in after sales support for consumers, while same can't be said for smaller brands.
