how to connect two computers through lan please helpme what i have to do :confused:

take cable. u must have ethernet lan card on both pc. now join it by cable. now go to network properties. turn off firewall and exceptions... in network properties, use diff IP/subnet.. in two pc. also use lan software to chat and for file sharing...

take a LAN cable (available @ computer shops for 30rs/metre ;) ) and connect it to the lan ports of the two computers and u will see the connected icon in the tray .... (disable fire walls if u do not see it) ... open network connections >> network properties>> change ip address>> OK ... u r connected!
