I want to buy a laptop and my budget is around Rs 30K. I searched The net and came across a very good option "Compaq Presario C772TU *h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/in/en/ho/W...123071-1123071-1123071-80243651-81818808.html"

But can anyone suggest some other laptop... I cannot exceed my budget greater than 31K in any case..
It should have atleast a combo drive. All other options are open

For your budget, go for Acer. Though Dell is best value for money, you have to stretch your budget to atleast 35K for a Dell Inspiron 1525.

For 30K, you will get 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, webcam, DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER and much more features. Only problem with acer is service and few other issues. But you can surely go for acer.
