Welll there nothing much u can do...

just make sure the OS u r installing, is getting install in manner of Older to newer... that means, Windows 98SE >> Windows 2000 >> Windows XP >> Windows Vista...

linux should be installed after all of the Windows Installation...

and make sure u install all OS in different partition...

i guyess thats what u can do.. rest is up to the OS it self... :p

You are allowed to create 4 primary partition on a single Hdd.
One of them would be your extended partition with the logical drives.
So you can create another 3 primary partitions.
While installing windows hide the other 2 primary partitions.
Make one active and install your OS.
Simmilarly install the other os by hiding the other primary patition.
If you are planning to install Linux then you will need one partition for /boot partition. The swap partition can be created in the extended partition.
Use some partitioning tool like Partition Magic for the purpose.
Also install some boot manager like XOSL which will give you the options for booting into which OS.If you are installing linux then lilo can also do the job.
But i recommend XOSL for the purpose. It is the best boot manager i ve come across.
