i am getting a new pc and want to get a 1600mhz ram on a z68 mobo n i5 2500k. but i have seen there are more than 1 models of kingston hyperx 4gb x1 sticks based on latency. how do i decide the specific model suitable?

get ram modules with lowest possible latency at a given speed but they will be pricey too ;-)

It will depend on your budget. Most of the people opt for CL9 because of its lower price. But if your budget permits, then you can opt for CL8 modules.

We should have a like button. :-D

+1 G.skill is the best dont mind spend 300 bucks extra on performance RAM atleast they yield much lower timings then the value packs :p

You're getting an 8gig Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz cl9 for a good price. IMO get this and be done with it.
