hi Tuxs,
I chose linux because of its security and attractive GUI with Beryl and Compiz,I having following System conifguration
AMD Athlon 3200
Asus A8V-VM Series
80GD Harddisk
I Tried Several Distribution such as Open suse10.3,Mandriva 2008,
Moreover i also Allocated 128MB on board Video Memory. But Compiz not working!!:confused:
Did anyone faced similar problem??,but it works well with my friend computer with P4 with intel motherboard without Graphics Card

Out of curiosity does this board use a VIA Display chipset? If so you are in for one hell of a problem configuring it. I recall gary4gar screaming bloody murder when he tried to configure it :| .

Ubuntu 7.10 see this site
*ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Gutsy#Advanced_Desktop_Effects_.28Compiz_Fusion.29

but Via Graphics :(

I think you have to install Openchrome
xserver-xorg-video-openchrome

but it looks very messy, see here

Also see this video
