Sir,

*I download free softwares and I do not know whether they contain malware, spyware and the like. Is there any way to know and confirm that they contain anything of these kinds?

*Where is the private tap in mozilla firefox 3.5 betta4?

Most of the software you download from reliable site such a softpedia.com, download.com, tucows.com etc doesn't contain malware. In many dite uch a download.com, it's written there that the file are thoroughly scanned for viruses. You can do a virus can after downloading though. But chances are less.

And for your second question, I think you want to know where is private browsing. Start Firefox, click on Tools and click start Private Browing.
