This means we don't need sound card...

There are many ways. The exact way suitable to you will depend on the config you have.
Two of the most popular ways:
1. Connect the HDMI port to monitor and connect 3.5mm jack of speaker to the audio out of the monitor.
2. Connect the HDMI to HDMI in of the speaker (if it have hdmi in port).
