How to install Win Xp from a CD to VirtualBox

Create a new virtual machine, mount the XP disc (Devices > CD/DVD Devices > CD Drive) and boot from it. Continue installation as you normally would after that.

and later on install the guest addon. an ISO is already there

start the machine u just created > devices > install guest addition
