Hi,
Is there any way / tool to know the exact max speed capability of the integrated wifi adapter on notebook.
I am unable to get clarity about the max speed of Atheros AR9285 based integrated wifi adapter on my vaio notebook. There's no mention on sony vaio site and atheros site seems to mention 802.11 n 150. However tools like HWiNFO report max as 65Mbps. Is there any way to get this info accurately or how to interpret this data? Thanks.

Your chip's max speed is 150Mbps.AR9285
However, actual speed depends on the access point you are connected to, distance from the router, physical interference, etc.

Lot of difference between theoretical & actual speeds boss.
