I have got WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE on my laptop.

What I should do for faster shut down?
How to make my laptop shut down automatically when I close the lid?
What I should I do for faster booting after switching on the laptop?

1) Make sure to close all the programs before you shut down.
2) Control Panel >> Power Options >> Choose what closing the lid does
3) Disable unnecessary startup programs.

if your laptop is fairly new, and updating/fresh install to windows 10 you'll get a lot difference in startup / shutdown speeds.
