How to upgrade my RAM to 16GB on my DK0268TX?

I have bought a HP Pavilion Gaming laptop and want to upgrade the RAM capacity to 16GB. I'm not sure how to proceed because this is my first time owning a laptop. Prior to this, I had a desktop at home and my animation career.

Do I need to go to the service center or I can do it myself? What procedure do I need to follow?

Buy any laptop ddr4 ram from amazon/elsewhere, open laptop lid (watch video), insert ram(watch video), close the lid

Do check if you have additional RAM slot.
If you have additional RAM slot you can buy an 8 GB stick to add to your existing 8 GB.
Else you might have to buy 16 GB stick of RAM.
