HP Pavilion not able to Boot from CD or USB

When I press F10 or F9, there is no option to boot from DVD or USB. I tried using both. When I go into BIOS, it is froze with a continous keee sound.

Open bottom panel, remove RAM, wipe it a bit (dry cloth) & reinsert it, then try again.

If it works, good, otherwise visit some service center.

The keyboard is not working as well. I am using USB keyboard. Looks like this one will end up at a service center.

PS : Currently installed Ubuntu works fine with an external keyboard.

I doubt it. Because I cannot tell the system to read from CD or USB. That is where I am stuck.
