Hey guys I recently come to know about hardware temperature monitor software for desktop. And friend of mine suggest me to install hw monitor software for viewing the hardware temperature of PC. I want to know is HWmonitor is good enough to show me exact temp of the core or should I install other software for this matter.

Yes, HWMonitor is good. There are quite a tools that monitor CPU, HDD temperature, fan speeds etc. Here are a few:
HWMonitor: HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUI
SpeedFan: SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer
RealTemp (Intel processors only): Real Temp - CPU temperature monitorin
Core Temp: Core Tem

I read somewhere that Speedfan is not accurate and should be avoided in favour of RealTemp.

If you search "speedfan inaccurate temperatures" you will see a lot of people complaining about how speed fan either reports the CPU temperature to be too low or too high.

From my experience, RealTemp does a better job.
