For Crossfire of HD 6790, I think 600W will be a borderline case, better opt for a little higher wattage to be on the safer side.

Corsair GS600 @4K

You would think eh , 2k SMPS and 4k SMPS no difference but Corsair is top quality it can even be sufficient for 6870.

^^ +1 for Corsair GS600 - don't be skimpy on this - for a multi gpu setup a quality PSU is always recommended ;-)

Why do u want to go for HD 6790. Its a very power hungry card and even uses more power than HD 6850. So, its better you spend 1k more and get a HD 6850. And get FSP SAGAII 500W at 2k, its sufficient for 6850. IMO SAGAII 500W cant power a 6790 efficiently.

CX 600 would be risky with two 6790 cards.

1st question:Have you already bought 6790?

If not, then
2nd question:what is your combined budget for graphics card and PSU?

there's no point it going for a CX600 as the price diff is very little ;-)

II think Op has a HD6790 and he is planning to get another HD6790 later but right now he want to buy PSu which will handle the future multi gpu config of 2 HD6790s properly ;-)

If going multi GPU, just make sure the PSU has 4x PEG connectors.
