plz guyz anybody can tell me a gud antivirus.spam,for virus and ..........

I use Kaspersky--> paid
AVG Antivirus-->free

FREE VERSION: avast! Home Edition
PAID VERSION: Kaspersky Antivirus

AVG, Avast... look no furthur.. both free... AVG, Avast Free both have real-time protection.

Why do u need an Antivirus anyway. Just use some common sence, don't install crap-ware & look before u click on anything. Combine that with a good anti-spyware software which is free, & u r set to go

i used AVG earlier, but now i am using AOL Active Virus Shield (absolutely freeware) it uses the kaspersky's virus database (the best antivirus today) and also has antispyware protection in it, which AVG and Avast does'nt have., have a look at it's homepage *www.activevirusshield.com/ you wont be dissatisfied with it.

c i think if ya r a newbee den kaspersky lab products is bit complicated for ya, otherwise kaspersky is da best...virus def updates per hour...etc, if ya want jus peace of mind for havin an AV den go for AVG or avast...dey r low on resources n dey r worthless

It's used when u forgot to say something in a message and so have to include it at the end.
I think it was used in the days of the typewriter, when we could'nt edit the letter once it was typed... so PS was the way to include something u forgot to write in the letter.

My Kaspersky AV has expired. Will i hav to purchase it again or there is some other way?? My brother bought it.

Both Avast and Avg are bad,Avast takes too much memory & Avg has limited protection

yeah avira antivir is the best (free antivirus)
And nod32 is the best (paid antivirus)

PS: they are sole antivirus and dont include whole intrnrt security suite.

I use avg, pretty happy with it. Will give a try to kaspersky.

can't u guys search? this topic has been discussed more than 10 times i suppose. anyway avast is the best.

i use norton corporate edition, ...its light and really good...

avast! home edition is cool... its working fine in background and not eating my memory like norton. Updates silently...its better then norton...

Dunno y.. but when I installed Active Virus Shield & Antivir.. they seem to behave problematic with me in the beginning. So.. I came back to my old favs.. Avast & AVG again. I hate irritating programs. Silk smooth.
Just a personal opinion.

Mayb the others r better. But the best always changes. One day.. it's Kapersky... one day it's Norton... one day Antivir.... so... no big deal... For the normal to super-normal guys... a free av solution is best. Only the corporates should go for the paid hugies

Nothing better than Kaspersky AntiVirus! I am using this one for the last one and a half year and never faces a single virus problem. In short, its too good...

Right! Norton NEVER Saved me from viruses and other malware.

tried avast previously but it has slowdown my system considerably..

my sys never slows down though my comp. is p3 500 384 ram

may be. it's ur xperience. everyone has his own xperience. if someone asks me a question abt antivirus, i wud close eyed say avast.

Avast is good av but it is bulky Above 40mb in mem

For top performance and protection use AVS,Kav6 or nod32

For going for a best Antivirus u have to choose ur comp usage habbits.Then opt for the right one.

For home use i think any Antivirus be it MacFee or Norton works but if ur going for net surfng then be alert!!!!!!!!

Iuse MacFee with up-to-date updation.it is good having many other options inspite of Antivirus .

The updation of Antivirus through net is a must task for the Antivirus.Be aware of it.
