If u change icon size, it'll affect both Startmenu as well as explorer. ;)

There could be 2 possibilities.

Either you changed the icon size from the Taskbar and Start Menu properties or you changed the icon size from the Display applet.

If you changed the size from the Taskbar and Start Menu properties, you will have to change the size of Explorer icons from a different place.
Here are the instructions.

Go to the Display Control Panel Applet from the control panel.
Switch to Appearance tab.
Select the Effects button.
Check the Use large Icons checkbox and clik ok.
Again click ok.
This is show larger icons in your explorer as well as Desktop.

If you have already followed the above steps, then change the View settings in your Explorer.
In the Explorer, under View Menu, select Icons.

Does it work?

@ spironox

You seem to have found a good way of increasing your post count. Just quote the post above you and proclaim - "Here it is! Here's your answer!!"
Am I right? ;)
