The Indian Government has acted in its usual pace -- slow as molasses and delayed the process of bringing 3G in India. So much so, that operators are thinking of skipping over 3G entirely and are already waiting for 4G.

Ah man, this sucks.
Btw, LMAO at the commen on the main site

"With 4G you will finally be able to watch HD on the go on that 24-inch TV screen you had tucked away in your pocket so long."---How do u really tuck in a 24 inch TV screen in your pocket???Got pockets as big as a mini van or was the author drunk like hell when he wrote this piece??My best guess is he meant 2.4 inch rather than 24 inch, but then again we don't call those things with 2.4 inch screen a TV, do we??

Not a very good idea, if govt cant make 3g bidding yet, how they can be so quick for 4g bid?

Atleast, they should provide 3.5G for the moment.

i doubt it to be honest..4G is still some years away..with govt companies already allocated,i doubt the private co. would shy away from this...
