Inexpensive Motherboard for ryzen 2600

My Msi x470 gaming plus is not working, after I cleaned it using compressed air can. I Can see some stains, etc

I need a temporary board which I can use till this one is fixed. But because of the stains, warranty might be denied too. Not sure.

So I’m looking for a cheap, reliable option. I’m considering b450 boards (Asrock b450 pro 4) Can consider a320 boards too.

my usage - 3d modelling (not very heavy scenes); then some rendering experiments - for a couple of hours a day. No gaming or overclocking.
But still the board should be able to tolerate heat (no ac in the room).
I have a Corsair 400r and I can use 2 fans as side intakes.

Please mention the rest of the components you are using especially CPU so that we can suggest better.

Since its just a R5 2600, you can get away with even A320 mobos. A520 does NOT support Rzyen 2nd gen, I think, so do check. AsRock B450M Pro4 is a good budget B450.
Something like ASUS Prime A320M-K - 4.2k is a good budget option for a temp solution, just 2 RAM slots though, with 1 M.2 slot.

Ryzen 2600. Ram 16gb - 8gb X 2 slots. 2 sata ssd.

I need 2 ram slots only.

I have never used a m-atx board. I hope these align properly with my corsair 400r (really old full size case).

Yes it will align just fine-i am using a mATX board in my corsair 400r cabinet myself.

Asrock mobos are not that widely available,in that case you may consider Gigabyte b450m Ds3h.

Please suggest me an inexpensive motherboard with wifi for 5900x.

buying mobo with built in wifi is a waste of money. and such mobos usually dont come cheap.

Considering how hot R9 5900X can get on load, it's stupid to pair it with even a B450 IMO. Mention your budget & if it's just a temporary mobo.

My recommendation with R9 5900X would be at least a good B550 mobo like MSI B550 Gaming Edge WiFi, costs ~18.5k (has WiFi 6). DO NOT BUY MSI's X570 Gaming Edge as that has worse VRMs, initial MSI X570 mobos were bad. For X570, get MSI X570 Tomahawk WiFi.

It will be a temporary mobo. Even without wi-fi will be ok.

Get any cheap A520 or B450 then. AsRock B450M Pro4 is a good budget mobo. Make sure it has BIOS installed for Ryzen 5000 support.
