I've intel 2nd gen Dual Core 2.7 Ghz...intel's site shows that it has 1066 memory controller...but i've installed one 1333 DDR3 RAM on MoBo (Intel DH61WW)...Will it create any problem in future ??..:-(

Help Needed...

Nope, no problems. The 1333MHz will just downgrade and run at 1066MHz.

No issues. You can use cpu-z to see the latencies with wch yr RAM is running. but every RAM is mostly designed to be working in 2-3 PCXXXX standard speeds.

just for information all 2nd gen core i processors have same 1066 memory controller.higher frequency ram can always run at lower frequency.problem arises when lower frequency ram is run at higher frequency.

Thank you for response..It means my system is running at 1066 Mhz RAM only..(1333-1066=267 mhz is useless for me)
