Hello,
Now a days many users start to use and try to experiment with EVDO with Linux..I want to know how many of the users here successful
I am not using EVDO but interested for future..
I gave some links here , users who are unsuccessful may try it and post the result. If necessary this thread may be made as sticky, so EVDO users can post their experiences with linux here.

Thanks Giga,
can you experiment with Linux...what is the procedure in RPM based and debian distros.. Particuly I am interested in USB modem since most of the labtops come with PCI-X expansion slots..

I am sharing my experiments with Linux with my officers who are using it to help the customers who want BB in linux..

Thanking you,
Vaithy

Hmm well, i was able to connect to internet using EVDO in linux before reading this thread. I followed procedures given in this blog: *nandz.blogspot.com/2007/11/how-to-get-reliance-zte-mg880-working.html

though i'm not a reliance EVDO user, it works for BSNL as well :)
