could also be you are using 3 malware scanners which sounds like they may be slowwing browser down, plus with IE's popup blocker, you probably get time-outs, or disconnected. have you switched from one ISP to another recently? how many connections are shown on the connections tab on internet options? what are your security settings set at as well? try clearing internet cache & files and resetting to default. Also found (that on certain dial-up connections) if you put a check next to "Use TLS 1.0" on advanced tab in internet options (about 4th from very bottom) this sometimes helps IE connections to net. I would suggest Hi-speed... obviously not avalible in your area yet though, eh?

Digit I am Thinking go to you IE options lick advanced tab, look for 'reuse windows for opening shortcuts" remove the check mark. now try opening a new windows. if that doesn't work hit the restore default settings and then try again, after restarting IE.
