Of lately in windows xp i cannot connect to the internet. the problem is that when i setup a network connection it disables the Dial modem options. So i cannot create a connection to connect to internet.
connect the phone line.... & did u have installed drivers properly & turn the modem (if extarnel)...
There is no problem in connection. The thing is that windows has disabled the option which allows me to create a connection to connect to the internet
I have had similar problems so had to reinstall Windows. This happened while using some third party tweaking toolz. Try enabling all possibe services and restart. May solve your prob. If it does, do let me know............
EVEN I'VE A PROBLEM
I AM USING A DIAL-UP CONNECTION IN XP
RECENTLY AFTER I INSTALLED ZONEALARM FIREWALL
ONE PROCESS CALLED VSCON.EXE EATS UP NEARLY 35MB OF RAM ALL THE TIME
ALSO MY PC SENDS INFO AT ABOUT FIVE TIMES THE SPEED I RECIEVE
AFTER ABOUT FIVE-TEN MINUTES THE STATUS OF THE CONNECTION IS SOMETHING LIKE THIS
BYTES SENT: 1,885,661
