My internet connection is not working now in Windows XP.
But right now it works with the Ubuntu live cd.
I have checked the network configs.
The ip address and dns server addresses are all properly config's.
I use touchtel adsl.
DHCP is disabled and I dont know how to enable it.Cant find on google.
Also when I try to ping anywhere except 127.0.0.1, I get an error saying ping failed error code 65.
Does anyone have the solution for this?

---edit

Checked online and uninstalled Zone alarm.Using avast alone, but problem is still there.
Both the Ubuntu and Knoppix live cd's work fine. But windoze doesnt.

Mods:Could you please close this thread. It turned out that the DNS server ip had to be changed.
Thanks.
