i have 256x2=512 mb ddr ram at 400 mhz.
i am planning to buy 1gb more ram. which is the best ddr ram.

Intel 915 doesn't support DDR II...

the best you can get out of ur current configuration is..to sell off the 2x256 MB DDR and get 2x512 MB DDR @400 Mhz..of Zion or transcend..

Zion 512 MB DDR @400Mhz ---->Rs.1800
Transecnd ---->around Rs. 2250 (Not sure)
