IS it a virus/Tro/wor

hi a few days back while browsing, my applications started showing dots in horizontal and vertical lines doesn't effect the media but text,blank space of the web page and menu's also when mouse hovers on them.
using kaspersky trial updated latest on win XP home Sp2
what to do?
