Is it possible to unlock JioFi hotspot?

I've this device and at times need to use other network SIMs.
Was wondering if anyway can use same device with any SIM but JIO.

If anyone here has tried this let me know.

There are many methods on the net to generate unlock code and enter it. Some says upgrade firmware etc.
But don't know if they work.
Due to locked firmware it becomes difficult to unlock it for other SIM cards.

I've tried to download a few modified firmware files but they only led to more and more ads and what not but never the real file.

Usually, to unlock these routers, a firmware file of some other country is flashed(with no SIM restrictions) . But since Pegasus, manufacturer of jiofi, makes it only for jio, it is impossible.

Huawei dongles are easy to unlock as the flash files can be found easily(in the case of Airtel 4G dongle). But here, flash files are not available.

Hmmm, I had to buy another dongle for this. JioFi seems to be locked for JIO SIMs only.
