Is Moto G2 battery compatible with Moto G4?

I have old moto G2 which is not usable anymore as a device as its screen got cracked & also super slow. But its battery seems to be good condition. I have a moto G4 whose battery needs to be replaced. Authorized Service Center not available in my locality & I can't reach location of nearest service center due to lockdown. Can I use the Moto G2's battery in Moto G4?

I'd say no. G2 has a 2070 mAh battery but G4 3000 mAh. So yeah, better to not try it. Probably other stuff like voltage output etc also be different.
