is there any freeware anti-virus for Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Corporate ???

antivirus like Avast do not run on server family OSs...
it doesnt run in windows 2000 adv server ... i have not tried it in 2003 though ....

Then try Clamwin its a free opensource antivirus program

ClamWin is free, but it doesnt have a background (real time) scanner.

thats means nothing is free for windows 2003 server ...

@imprince: Avast free home edition doesnt support server family OS

Speaking of that I'd like to know which has a real time email scanner for Outlook Express as I plan on changing from AVG ? It should detect the email settings automatically as AVG ?

avast scans Microsoft Outlook attachments b4 downloading them ....

Free antivirus

Try ANTIVIR antivirus .It is free and can be found on old digit cd's

avast! 4 Home Edition 4.1.260 for Win9x/NT4/ME/Win2k/XP (7169 kb)

AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 6.0.465 for Win9x/NT4/ME/Win2kPro (5 mb)

AntiVir Personal Edition Ver 6.13.00.xx for NT4/Win2k/XP (3.9 mb)

All these work with Win2K and NT

Anti Vir is good one for severs.
I have installed that on win 2000 server in my dads office.

ClamAV 0.86.1-1 is available. :wink:
