Guys my friend is offering me a web address and the features mentioned below for rs.1000 per year it is good?

^^ This should be the other way.. Anyway, its not too good/bad.. Depends on the reliability of the hosting..

I would say the prices are on the higher side compared to what I am paying. Check the bazaar section for good resellers.

what is data transfer?what happenes if that exceeds 300mb?

Bandwidth or Data Transfer

Every time one of your web pages is viewed by someone on the internet, the size of that page goes towards your bandwidth usage. (Below is an example of how many times a page would have to be viewed to reach 10GB of transfer.)

• Page size 30kb = 1,398,101 views
• Page size 40kb = 1,048,576 views
• Page size 50kb = 838,861 views
• Page size 60kb = 699,051 views

If that exceeds you monthly quota, your account would be suspended for the rest of the month under normal conditions :smile:

BTW, domain prices are too high. Rs 900 :shock:. Most hosts would be able to provide you with one between 300-400.

can U post the url of that hosting company.

Domain charge is very high....and bandwidth is very less.

Ask him....
1) server location, datacenter details, how long he is in business etc.
