hi guyz

i want to know whether Win XP Pro (without any service packs) is bluetooth ready?

if not, then is there any way other than installing the service packs.
(like some tweaks, etc......)

Win XP initially had no built in support for Bluetooth devices. XP SP2 adds this feature.

XP's bluetooth is crappy. it detected my usb dongle and refused to wirk with it. i had to manually change the drivers in hardware. my point is if it cant do it then why set the drivers automatically?

Windows XP SP2 now has native support of Bluetooth v2.0

If you are installing old version of bluetooth hardware, some problem may be there but not necessararly.
