Japan ethers UN's proposal to ban media that depict violence against women
If this passes, then suicide rates in Japan will go even higher. 
damn no more good animes.......
There is a theory that Japanese men prefer such "extreme" forms of entertainment because their work pressure is so much that such media is the only way for them to relax.
There were two surprising things I learned from that.
1) UN takes such measures.
2) Most of the artwork are created by Japanese women.
