I think the photographers at Taj Mahal use the same technique, I remember my little brother was carrying a soft toy with him & the photographer clicked a photograph such that the soft toy appeared to be sitting at the tip of the Taj Mahal.

Classic trick photography- pushing up against the leaning tower of pisa, holding up the taj mahal or qutub minar.
Really boring.
